Travel Technology

I am familiar with some of the apps and websites that are listed. However, I had never used those websites for travel purposes because I had never travelled to a different country before that I was not familiar with, for example, the social media sites Facebook and Instagram, which I only use for browsing but not for travel. I have never used Booking.com to book my accommodation, but I only use it for this course. The rideshare app Uber is what I am familiar with because I use it all the time. Gladly, this project includes this component to help me understand the importance of technology when traveling. One app that I would add to my list is the 'Translate' default app on an iPhone. It is easy to use and convenient since it is already on my phone, bringing in my travel wherever I go.

Since I have never travelled to a different country before, I searched up the apps or websites from the list and learned about them. I found a lot of information about those apps that could help a traveller prepare before, during, and what to do after a trip.
